Studio Policies

Conduct
Every student should have the opportunity to receive the best dance experience. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior from students and parents is unacceptable. If a student's conduct becomes a recurring issue, a member of our staff may contact that parent to discuss solutions. 

Newsletters
Important news will be distributed via email as well as our blog and social media outlets. As part of our efforts to go green, we prefer not to distribute hard copies. However, if you do not wish to receive emails or shy away from social media, we will be happy to provide you a hard copy upon request. 

Missed Classes
No credit or refund will be given for missed classes. Classes must be made up within session that they are missed.

Make Up Classes
In order to make up a missed class, the student may attend another class on our schedule, as long as the class is at the same age level. The make up class does not have to be in the same style of dance in which they are enrolled. 

Inclement Weather
In the event of inclement weather, notification will be sent out to parent/guardians by email and via our social media links. If class is not cancelled though you feel driving conditions may not be safe, we ask that you contact the studio to notify us of you or your dancer's absence.

Recital
Lively Arts Dance Academy holds our annual dance recital in the spring at the Hinsdale Community House. This is an opportunity for the students to gain stage experience and build confidence while showing friends and family what they have learned over the past year. The recital will be split into two shows. Students are required to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal prior to recital. Dates and location of rehearsal and recitals will be announced and posted to our calendar and social media outlets.

2019/2020 Tuition
All families are required to have a credit card on file for tuition and other fees. Statements will be emailed out on the 15th of the month for the following month’s tuition and fees via InvoiceASAP.


Balance can be paid via cash or check before the 5th of the month if you don’t want your credit card to be charged. Payments are due NO LATER THAN THE 5th of every month from September- May for a total of 9 months. While some months are shorter or longer than others, and some included summer break, schedule breaks, and holidays, the yearly tuition is divided equally over 9 months

3 CLASSES - $270 PER MONTH
